Huge and chaotic, Bangkok is also an amazing city that caught my heart! It felt so good being somewhere I’ve never imagined. So many things to see, so many colors!
I wish I had spent more than 5 days in Bangkok. The only touristic place we visited was the Grand Palace, which, unfortunately, was crowded. But yeah, it’s beautiful!
Khao San road is the busiest place to go at night. It’s crazy! Loud music, street food, insects and restaurants! I had a lot of fun there!
But there’s also another street full of restaurants and good music: Soi Rambuttri. But this one is more quiet that Khao San! And it’s soo cute! I
To get to know Bangkok I have to tell you: walk, walk and walk. Even if it’s 40 degrees! It’s amazing the things you can find! Of course tuktuk is a must, but it’s too expensive compared to taxis or water taxis. And seriously walking around Bangkok ( either day or night) is an amazing experience. We got lost in Chinatown and at night we tried to go to Lebour Hotel ( and couldn’t go to the rooftop because we weren’t properly dressed, duh!). Soooo we went to the closest 7-eleven and got some beers, and of course got lost around the city!
We stayed in two hotels: 7Luck and The Prince Palace hotel. Both were really good and well located!
7Luck: Everything we needed we had! A good room with air conditioner, good shower and very friendly staff! Next time we go back to Bangkok we will definitely stay there!
Seriously, Bangkok stole my heart and I’m looking forward to go back! Hopefully next year!
